Wheelchairs 

​Users of wheelchairs and mobility scooters are always welcome at the services and events that occur at All Saints. We are accessible to all - everything is on the same level, although, being an historic building, some of the flooring is somewhat uneven. However, there are no steps into or out of the building. 

1. The original wheelchair was unsafe to continue to be able to be used.  

2. Although the PCC did look into replacing it a decision was made that it would not be replaced because:
It has become incredibly complex to be able to offer a 'church wheelchair' due to the associated maintenance and insurance requirements of doing so.

3. Wheelchairs and other mobility equipment can be hired, for a short time or a longer time, if needed, for a modest fee, from a number of places, including The British Red Cross and Lincoln Dial a Ride should anyone wish to hire a wheelchair or other equipment for either their own use or that of a family member or friend. Finally, if anyone has a wheelchair that they or a family member/friend no longer need, or even, if you do still use it, but wish to loan it to someone in the congregation then this would be fine for you to do so on a personal level agreed between the two parties.
