Churchwarden Update
Andy Lewis is a faithful and dedicated churchwarden… and he has been for many years! Last year he agreed to serve for one more year but now it really is time for him to pass on the mantle. Could you consider joining John Dent to serve as a churchwarden at All Saints? Might you offer to be an Assistant Churchwarden? We’d offer any support you might need. Come and talk to Michelle if you might sense God calling you to explore this a little further.
To Love and Serve the Lord
This diocesan course will run here in our room in The Hub.
As of March 8th 2026 - '
a final call'
for anyone who might like to join this course. It's a course which encourages us to explore our faith, the church and how God might be asking us to use our own skills in the building of God's Kingdom. It can lead to becoming an Authorised Lay Minister, or can just be a really interesting course to enjoy. The day and time the course will take place on will be chosen according to the preferences of those who would like to be part of it.

October 2025 it was announced that The Right Reverend and Right Honourable Dame Sarah Mullallaly DBE will become the 106
th
Archbishop of Canterbury. Archbishop Sarah was confirmed as the new Archbishop of Canterbury at a ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral on Wednesday January 28th 2026.
The Rt Revd Stephen Conway, the Bishop of Lincoln, writes: "I offer my heartfelt congratulations to the Rt Revd Dame Sarah on her appointment as the next Archbishop of Canterbury. It is truly an historic moment that we welcome the first woman Archbishop. Her courage to step forward and her faithful response to the call of the Spirit has been recognised. May these qualities continue to guide her as she prepares for her responsibilities as the spiritual leader of the Church of England. The rich and varied vocations and ministries she has followed throughout her life, including as Chief Nurse and as the Bishop of London, will bring a grounded and pastorally sensitive approach to her leadership. I trust that this signifies a future hope and renewal for our Church and the faith we hold dear. I warmly invite you to join me in praying for Archbishop-designate Sarah as she prepares for the momentous task that lies ahead, and for all the dioceses and parishes which will be embarced by her care and guidance."
