APCM Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and Annual Meeting of Parishioners (AMP).

These meetings will take place in All Saints, Nettleham, following the 10am service.

The APCM is open to all those on the electoral roll of the church and, in addition to receiving a number of reports about the life of the church, elects PCC lay members.

This year there are five PCC vacancies, of which one is carried forward from a previous year. The PCC would welcome new members.

Many thanks are given to Myfanwy Denton who is standing down this year.

There are also elections this year for three deanery synod representatives, who are exofficio members of the PCC. Russ Coulter is standing down and thanks are given for his service as deanery synod representative and lay chair.

The AMP is for parishioners (those resident in the parish) and also those on the church electoral roll. Its main role is to elect two Churchwardens.

Nominations need to be received before the meeting. Andy Lewis is stepping down as Churchwarden and the PCC is very thankful for his service.

Nomination papers for all these roles are at the back of church with eligibility. Further information is available from Revd Michelle, the Churchwardens or Sally Coulter

Update from Jenny.

This coming summer I am expecting to be ordained Deacon and will be entering into a full-time curacy with Rev'd. Al Jenkins in the North Lafford benefice, which includes All Saints Ruskington and churches in surrounding villages. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me there, and how the lessons that I have learnt from you all will equip me for my future ministry.

My farewell service will be on 24th May at 3.30pm and the short service will be followed by afternoon tea.

The details of my ordination will also be shared in due course.

After the service there will be a bring and share afternoon tea. If you are planning to come to the service can you let me (Jane Hanson) know over the next few weeks. At this point I’m trying to gauge how many people will be attending. To ensure that we have nice mix of food items for the tea, I will provide a list of suggested food items (e.g sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes etc) that you can consider and sign up to after Easter. Thanking everyone in advance. It’s going to be lovely afternoon. Jane Hanson.
