Jenny's Farewell 

A farewell service for Jenny took place on Sunday 24th May 2026. It gave us all the chance to say a fond farewell or perhaps an adieu to her, Richard and her family as they move on to pastures new in Ruskington as Jenny steps into the next chapter of her ministry as deacon and curate. 

Hello all, I'm sure you have realised that last week I finished my placement at All Saints Nettleham. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who made it such a special week, for the times of celebration and goodbye, the beautiful gifts and for the lovely messages. As I said to many people on Sunday, I couldn't have wished for a better place and a better group of people to be amongst these past two years. The fellowship, generosity and love that I have met in you all is astounding, and I thank God for each one of you. I'm sure that some of our paths may cross again, but for those who I might not see again, I will remember you in my heart and my prayers. With much love and  thanks. Jenny.

Thank you to everyone involved with refreshments last Sunday at Jenny's farewell service. A huge thank you to all those who provided food for everyone to eat, to all those who helped set up and clear away and to all those who served teas and coffees. Might I liken our afternoon tea to the parable of the feeding of the 5000. There was more than enough for everyone to eat and drink and there was food left over (which, thanks to the generosity of those who made the food, we will use at ducklings and coffee church).
