2nd December prayers

Father God, we thank You that You are never changing - the same yesterday, today and forever. Guide us to follow Your ways through an everchanging world. Let us remain rooted in You and help us to demonstrate that to others. Show us that, this Christmas, although it is good not to be without family and friends, You are what it is all about. Enable us to love You and our families and friends even more and show us how to love those we don't know or don't get on with. Let us come alongside those whose family and friends are missing this Christmas for whatever reason. Amen.
