1st December prayers

Lord God help us through this time of Advent as we look forward to celebrating Your Son's first coming and we expectantly wait for His second coming. Thank You for the eternal hope we have in Him. Guide us as we think of one area of our lives to think about with hope. We pray Your peace, that surpasses all understanding, to spread throughout the world. We pray for our own peace of mind and rest in You. Let us bring joy to the world we inhabit and inspire others to find joy in You. Thank You that You loved us so much that You became Emmanuel, God with us. Let us demonstrate to others Your love for us by loving them in the same way. Amen
